we have 2 horses and we want to play a game with them with one person on one horse and one on the otherWhat are some fun games you can play on ur horse?
I love playing games on horseback! I've ridden english/western/bareback with all the games below.
-The ever popular... TAG! (Very easy, you can play with 2 or more riders - same old rules... just on horseback! And if your horse is playful enough... just play tag with it! Mine sure enjoys that)
-Hide and Go Seek - a little harder than tag - but here is how I play... (I've only played with 1 other rider... but this game would be awesome with more riders!).
1 rider counts to a (certain) time and while she/he is counting the other rider(s) go off to hide. It works well if you play in the woods (we have fenced in woods). Once the time is up you go off to find them... you could even play it as a "marko polo" version (like the swimming pool) just make sure to keep your eyes open :)
-Horse Shows, my sister %26amp; I are always doing our own "horse shows" we even get the real show clothes out sometime.. and keep track of points! It's always fun doing a "jumping competition" (made up by yourself!), a basic ground riding show (walk/trot/canter), and lots more!
-But my complete favorite is...
The Obstacle Course! Just find random things that (can't) harm you or your horse... set it up in a arena pasture... and off you go! It's a lot more fun with 2 or more riders, but I've done it by myself!
Hope that helps, good luck! What are some fun games you can play on ur horse?
I have never tried this, but I have friends who play hillbilly polo sometimes. For the ball you use a giant yoga ball and for clubs you use broomsticks. You would have to have some bombproof horses, but is sounds like tons of fun. Mostly me and my friends race each other though, haha, and I usually win. :]What are some fun games you can play on ur horse?
We have played red light green light before, uncle fox, tag, horse ball(like lacrosse on horseback), and a few games like that at 4-H meets and when my friends and cousin's would be here to ride.
